This paper presents the design characteristics of the air conditioning, heating and ventilation systems of the conservatory in the botanical pavilion of the 2014 Qingdao World Horticultural Exposition. The botanical pavilion adopts the design concept of a low-temperature greenhouse. Appropriate indoor temperature and humidity ranges are determined according to the different growth habits of plants. In summer, natural ventilation combined with the air conditioning system with pedestrian walkway air supply is mainly used to meet the cooling needs of indoor plants, while also taking into account the thermal comfort needs of tourists. In winter, radiators combined with the air conditioning system with the pedestrian walkway air supply system are used to maintain the indoor temperature. At the same time, fans are set in the indoor vertical direction to reduce the vertical temperature gradient. The marine plant exhibition hall uses a solution dehumidification air conditioning system to supply air upward along the wall of the exhibition tank to prevent condensation on the wall of the exhibition tank.
